At Golden Age of Tennis, we love everything about tennis and we particularly love those years when the players had as much style as they had skill and panache. We are here to celebrate this time through showcasing and selling the classic clothing they wore.
The idea for Golden Age of Tennis was hatched over 10 years ago by one of our founders Jay Henley who started buying and selling retro tennis clothing alongside his fulltime role of being a tennis coach. In late 2020, the other two founders Peter Mullin and Alistair Thomson decided that the clothing Jay was selling needed to be seen by more of the world, so agreed to form Golden Age of Tennis and give it the platform his hard work so deserved.
Over those 10 years, Jay had built up one of the most amazing and comprehensive collections of retro tennis clothing anywhere in the world and one of the main objectives, was to bring the clothing back to core tennis fans, who we knew would appreciate the style and quality.
Brought together through friendship, a mutual love of the game and true appreciation of the clothing, we are committed to bringing style back to the world of tennis and in doing so, becoming the largest and broadest retailer of retro tennis clothing anywhere in the world.
Our mission is simple: to become the premium seller of retro tennis clothing anywhere in the world. This will be brought to you through providing the best quality materials, fantastic service and a passion to deliver by people who love what they sell and love what they do.
